Published
Immediately on approvalApproved books go live as soon as we approve them. You receive an email with your book link, affiliate link, and promotional materials.
Content Policy
We accept a wide range of content. Here's what's allowed and what isn't:
Fiction and non-fiction in any genre
Original work — you must own the copyright or have the right to publish
Minimum 10,000 words (novels); 2,000 words (essays, short stories with prior approval)
Complete manuscripts — no partial submissions
English language (other languages by arrangement)
Plagiarism or AI-generated content without substantial human authorship
Content that sexualises minors
Illegal content under UK or US law
Doxxing or content targeting real individuals without consent
Spam or keyword-stuffed content created purely for search manipulation
Mature Content
Adult content (explicit sex, graphic violence) is permitted provided all characters are clearly adults and the book is correctly tagged as "Mature" during submission. Mature-tagged books are filtered from the default browse experience and won't appear in curated lists or recommendations unless the reader has explicitly enabled adult content.
Erotica featuring characters under 18 is not permitted under any circumstances.

Appealing a Rejection
If you believe your book was incorrectly rejected, you can appeal by contacting us through the Contact page with your submission ID and the reason you believe the decision was incorrect.
Appeals are reviewed by a different team member. Our decision on appeal is final, but we take every appeal seriously.
Earnings & Payouts
When a reader buys your book outright
When a subscriber reads past 25% of your book
When someone subscribes via your referral link
Payouts are processed monthly. Subscription read earnings are distributed once per month after the pool is calculated.
Takedowns & Removals
If we receive a valid DMCA or legal notice, we will temporarily remove the book and notify you immediately. You have 14 days to respond before any permanent action. We do not remove books based on unsubstantiated complaints — a formal legal claim is required.
Authors may remove their own books at any time from the Author Dashboard. Books purchased by readers before removal remain in those readers' libraries permanently.
